Many Channels are different/ have changed than its names suggest

This is up to broadcasters - if they do not maintain properly own broadcast, then we can’t help users with wrong channels names, category, etc.

Yes, you cannot edit name/category directly in web UI. This part of Ace Stream server is pretty old and need to be reworked/refactored.

you can force engine to use any .conf file, not only default “acestream.conf” - to do so, run it as "start-engine --client-console @/path/to/custom.conf" or use "start-engine --client-console --allow-user-config" - in the latter case file “acestream_user.conf” should exist and be placed in the install dir.

Regarding the conf file, what “commands” can I configure with it. A help page I used in the past doesn’t exist anymore.
I want to give the ace-stream engine on Ubuntu another chance, running fine in Windows for the last months.
